A dark stinky liquid swirled gently around carrionplace, around the paws that stood in it like trees. She stared down at the stuff in disgust. It stuck to her fur and stank like mouse-bile. "Gross." Jaytail growled as she continued to plod her way through it. Some whitish two-leg thing was stuck in it a little farther off. Jaytail looked at it. It had a sort of box with a lid that was gummed to it. A little knob was on one side and a hole in the other. A base stuck out odly, and a broken pipe dripped. It smelled terrible. She backed away and slipped in the slimy stuff. She fell and landed on her bottom, hissing angrily. She'd have to clean up later.

Jaytail carefully leaped over the white thing. She stared around and saw a rock jutting out of the muddy stuff, and splashed towards it. She leaped up and stood on it, surveying the land around her. It was dark and gross. Suddenly a bright light flashed at her and she turned around with a squeak. A twoleg with a bright orange pelt shined some sort of sun in a cylinder at her, and she slid down the rock, falling in the mud again. Her skinny body was covered in it as she pulled herself to her paws, but she remained crouching, staring at the twoleg until it went away. The she-cat then shook her fur so that it stood up in muddy spikes all over her skinny body. "Yuck."
